I'm proud of my workouts this week, and proud of my eating (sans bacon). I did have more alcohol this week (about 5 glasses of red wine) than normal (when I have zero). I have made sure to drink all my water, but my legs are just retaining like crazy. They're sore and restless at the same time. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to see what else he might recommend. I was put on a diuretic a while back that seemed to help, but it doesn't seem to be helping anymore.
I'm looking forward to doing the Southern Lights Stroll 5K with my hubs on Wednesday night. Not sure if I'm going to try to beat my previous time or if I'm going to just stroll with him (although he walks so freakin fast he'd beat my previous time anyway). Pretty excited about my holiday-themed workout playlist, so maybe I'll try to alternate between strolling a song and jogging/powerwalking a song.
Thanks for all the encouragement you've given me on my last few posts. I know that the mental parts of this journey are harder than the physical, so I'm looking forward to addressing them head on.
