Just a few random notes tonight, after a long day. Getting to bed as soon as I hit “publish” so I can get a good nights sleep.

Here’s a great reminder:

FitBloggin’ Local Meetup Nashville this Saturday! We’ve got a full day of informal fitness, networking and content. Full agenda here. Please RSVP ASAP so we can get a solid number of attendees!

Last, I love hearing all your goals for the rest of the year! Please continue to post them here. We can all do it! (this is where I wish I could shake some virtual pom-poms)

I so wish there were a meetup closer to Lexington! I drove to Charleston and back the last two weekends (about three hours each way), so I’m a little tapped for gas money and time to make another 7 hour round-trip this weekend. It looks like a lot of fun.

Great picture and quote!  Can’t wait to meet you on Saturday at Fitbloggin local!  :)

    That’s a great quote :)
My first goal is to complete C25K…then enter a race of some description. I’d be really happy if I could enter a 5k and run the whole thing :D
I’m at a pretty ‘happy’ weight right now, so am focusing on increasing my exercise and improving my fitness instead of the numbers, but in the long term – another 10-20lbs off before the end of the year would be great :D

Good luck in C25K! I love that program and it is definitely a way to get into running. I did something similar a few years ago and got hooked! There are always 5Ks around my area (Atlanta) and I’m sure it is similar everywhere. Get in one with a fun name so you get a cool T-shirt! That’s how I pick my races.

      Happy Running!
