Lands’ End Plus Size Polo Dress

In the spring and summer, I gravitate towards easy dresses. I’m not really confident in many shorts and capris as they seem to cut me off in a weird spot or make my proportions look off. I could go with jeans, but they’re not really practical with the heat. Enter a super easy-to-wear solid polo dress that is wash-and-wear.

Base Dress: Lands’ End Solid Mesh Polo Dress in Light English Violet, 3x, $50

1. Throw-and-go dress with metallic Cole Haan flats (covered here)
2. Quick! I want more color! Add scarf (gifted) and Cole Haan yellow wedges (covered here)
3. I want to look a little more dressy – add Old Navy leopard skinny belt (sold here) and SWAK 3/4 sleeve cardigan (covered here)

I actually featured this dress back in a mock-outfit in January here. When Lands’ End offered to let me select an item from their plus size collection, I knew exactly what I would pick. For the life of me I can’t find my denim jacket, but I think it’d be cute with that as well. I love that the dress is a classic shape and style, and is really easy to wash-and-wear. It’s also great that it comes in so many colors.

Disclosure: Lands’ End sent me the dress, however all opinions are my own.

LOVE the dress but Look #3 is my personal favorite. It looks perfectly “thrown” together and effortless! Work it!

Oh I had no idea they had a plus size collection. I’ve been looking at dresses a bit now and maybe you’ve posted this, but do you typically wear a 3x? Like did it fit based on your expectations? I’m trying to figure out what size I’d want to order :)

I totally hear you about wearing dresses and skirts in warm weather. Short and most crops just do NOT flatter a fuller figure. I have actually found leggings and tunics to look way better than shorts or crops. So, my spring/summer wardrobe is mostly skirts and dresses…with really tight pairs of Spanx Higher Power! :)
