My holiday celebrations are centered around home, hosting friends for comfortable, casual, and (somewhat) quiet times. As silly as it sounds to some, twinkle lights and glitter make me really happy, and the holidays are the perfect time to deck the halls with as much of it as possible! My mom always did a great job decorating, and it's one holiday tradition I try to keep up.
I unwrapped my first gift of the season, which was this perfect cozy and warm holiday outfit from maurices. Perfect for sitting around with friends sipping spiked hot cocoa and laughing about this years adventures. Or, cozying up on the couch and just reading a book while sipping coffee next to the twinkle lights.

I don't own many sweaters, but this sweater dress is an easy, comfortable, and cozy addition to my cold weather wardrobe. I was surprised (and really pleased) that this had a slip with it. No fear of being itchy (though this is very soft), or having a breeze go through the knit. Being 5'10, it's rare that I find knit dresses long enough to cover my bum. So these leggings were perfect. They are like BUTTAH. Seriously. I made people touch them. So comfortable.
More glitter. Always. I love using decor pics covered with beading, glitter, sequins, or all 3 to decorate the tree. I don't have a lot of family ornaments, so the ones I do put on the tree are super intentional. They have a story attached to them, and are fun to share when people come over.
I wanted a way to show off the holiday cards I received (snail mail is so rare!), so I found some fun garland and glittered clothes pins to put on the fireplace mantle. This way my friends from afar are front and center in the decorations.
