Today I'm bringing you not, 1, not 2, but 3!!! Spring dresses from CATHERINES. I had more picked out, because Catherines has a really large selection of dresses right now. As much as I wanted to get #allthethings, I settled on these 3 because they can take you to nearly any Spring event on your calendar.
Dress 1: Lovely Lace
LA FLOR LACE DRESS from Catherines, available in sizes 0X-5X and also in petites. It's not quite as light as a seafoam, but not as vibrant as a turquoise. It's a really lovely color and the texture is very nice.
I love that this is lace, but also that the color screams Spring! There is a slight sheen to the lace which means it could easily go to a cocktail event or something at night. It is fully lined, so no worries about exposing anything! It is a sheath cut, and even at 5'10” it extended to my knees which is really great. I often have to worry about dresses being too short, but not this one.
Look 2: The Year Round Staple
SOUTHWEST BELTED DRESS in sizes 0X-5X from Catherines. Comes with the belt (not with the cardigan.) With this look, you can see how easy it is to layer for those days that still have a bit of chill in the air.
I have no problem showing my arms, so I can't wait for the weather to get a little warmer to wear this out on its own. It has a really soft, stretchy material. The print has some texture to it – almost like puffy paint! It was a cool detail that must be appreciated in person. The bright pop at the bottom of the dress is a fun nod to flowers in bloom. You could layer this with a cardigan, shrug, denim jacket, or even a moto jacket depending on the look you're going for. It's a super easy, no-fuss dress. The material would also pack really well. I labeled this one a year-round dress because you could also wear tights and boots with it in the Winter with any layering piece and have it work.
Look 3: The Breezy Dream
BLACK LABEL SUNRISE VISTA DRESS from Catherines, available in sizes 0x-5X. I'm wearing the 3X and it has a nice, thick, stretchy material on the top and underneath the layers of the flowy skirt. Jacket is my own, but Catherines has a SIMILAR ONE HERE.
This dress could 100% be dressed up for a semi-formal occasion. It is sleeveless, and the bright white is a blank slate or a statement on it's own. Dress up or down with jewelry, or throw on a jacket and flats like I did to make it casual. Warning: you WILL want to twirl in this dress, repeatedly. I can imagine wearing this on a cruise with the wind whipping the skirt. A girl can dream, right?!
Not only do I appreciate the variety of styles that CATHERINES has, I also appreciate that they have over 350 locations so you can go in and try things on to find the best item for you. Alternatively, if you find something from their site that you love that isn't in store, they have free ship-to-store. Plus, you can return your online items in-store, which is way more convenient than shipping them back. All of this on top of the fact that they carry extended plus sizes for up to a 34W.
Which of these Spring dresses is your favorite?
