Hola friends. Another weekend has come and gone. I've got some work to get done tonight, so just a drive-by blog post for now.
Did you have a good weekend? I had a session with Trainer Rob Saturday morning, and am sore today from it! Arms, shoulders and back in particular. Made it to the gym again early this morning for an hour of low intensity cardio. Tomorrow I think I'm going to do weights. I'm on a slighly different routine than the past 12 weeks, just to switch it up.
Yesterday was a complete #fail as I had tons to do and didn't get much of anything done. My stomach was feeling awfully sour all day and I couldn't wake up, so I pretty much vegged the whole day.
Today, hubs and I went to Louisville to visit my bestie Anne, her husband and her 2 sweet boys. They did the 5K with me and I hadn't seen them since then. It was about time! Brunch at Ramsi's cafe, which was delish. We also got some yogurt from CeFiore later in the afternoon. I love where they live because you can walk anywhere you really need to. I noticed that when we got to each destination how I felt a couple times ago when I was there- I was red faced and sweaty. Not so much today! Non scale victory!
Anne is a fantastic photographer. I needed an updated photo or two for Skorch Magazine, as we're coming out of summer hiatus and a new issue will be out in October. I'll let you know when it goes up. This is the first time in a really long time that I've seen photos of myself and NOT cringed with disgust. I know I probably seem superficial for posting pictures of me, but I don't care. They make me feel good. I have enough days where I feel bad about myself that I'll relish this moment and post them anyway.
