Hello lovelies. I sat down to write tonight but honestly am tired and have so many random things going on on my head, I couldn't buckle down for a coherent post!
Things at work are great, but very busy. I love having lots of projects going on, however at the end of the day, I'm frazzled. This week, I've ditzed out a few times: I got to work and realized I left my laptop at home (guess that's why you should never bring your work home with you!). I also had a mild freak out yesterday when I woke up with a killer headache and didn't go to the gym. I didn't know how I would fit in a workout later after work because I had some commitments and wouldn't be home until after 8pm. I went to my workout calendar (I keep one in Google) and was perplexed to find that I in fact did still have all 5 of 5 workouts in my schedule for the week. I did spin + yoga (spoga) this morning, despite REALLY not wanting to get out of bed. Once again, I didn't regret it one bit, and it left me energized and feeling good for the rest of my morning. Tomorrow morning I meet with Trainer Rob. Should be good.
Over on Facebook, I posted a couple of outfits from this week. My favorite is this one:
FTC disclosure: Yummie Tummie sent me these leggings, but this reaction is all mine. These things rocked. Really. They actually go up to above the belly button to help smooth out any muffin top or anything like that. The leggings felt almost like I would imagine a light compression tight to fit, and after a hard leg workout, they felt amazing all day, and actually helped with my normal fluid retention I have in my legs. They were super comfortable and warm, but they were light – if that makes any sense? Anyway, they're more expensive than you would typically think about for leggings, but trust me – you can TELL the difference. I also received a long sleeved t-shirt from them, but I think it might be a little snug. Will try to review that one later. I often complain about the lack of poor quality knitwear for plus size women, and this really gives me hope, because the fabric was luxurious. Here's hoping they'll expand their plus size offerings soon! Word on the street is that some more is on the way in 2011.
Here's my outfit from today, hitting you from all angles.
I love clothes and plus size fashion, but am struggling right now with fall and cooler weather. I seem to be inbetween sizes and don't want to spend lots of $$ every time I go down a size, so I'm going to try to experiment with layering and such to try to stretch the wardrobe a little farther.
Anyway, that's about all the capacity my brain has to write tonight. Hoping to catch up with some posts over the weekend.
Have a great one!
