My last weigh in was on 11.22. I knew this morning I would be down at least a few pounds because of the new diuretic that I've been taking because I've been monitoring my weight and fluids more often to ensure it is working properly. But I had a much better day on the scale than I had even anticipated!
Starting weight: 455
Last weigh in: 367
Loss this week: -5
Total lost: -93 pounds
Hooray for the 90 pound club!
And for a non-scale victory (NSV), last night I went to Macy's after evaluating the lack of winter clothes that fit in my closet. Nothing like a high expected of 23 plus snow to get you motivated to buy some warmer clothes. It was also Friends and Family days, where everything was an additional 25% off.
I mainly focused on sweaters and cozy warm tops. I always have lots of tops and very little pants because I usually can't find pants that fit – especially at stores like Macy's where their largest size is a 24. For giggles, I grabbed a pair of Calvin Klein jeans just to see how close I would be to getting into them. No expectations whatsoever.
To my complete and utter shock, they fit! I then grabbed a pair of Tommy Hilfigers and they did too! And Levi's! I couldn't find a size 24 in the Michael Kors pants, but if I could have, I would have tried them too. I was so happy- I started this journey in a tight size 32. Didn't buy any of them (was focusing my purchases on work wear), but was so excited to have a whole new range of options!
I did get some great sweaters though, including the one I'm wearing today. Cozy.
