This summer, I've been swimming quite a bit and unfortunatley (or fortunately) the 2 suits I have are both a little too big, especially in the bust. Instead of hoping nothing comes out that shouldn't, I ordered a new swimsuit on sale at Lands End. They always have well-made swimsuits that resist chlorine well and they have a good selection for plus size.
There are quite a few other swimsuits I loved as well, which you can see on my Pinterest plus size swimwear board
Here is the swimsuit I ended up with. It was on sale and I had a discount code, so it ended up being about $50 shipped.
Why I ordered this suit:
1. It was relatively inexpensive compared to others
2. It has a built in underwire bra
3. The straps don't cross in the back (funky tan lines)
4. The straps are adjustable so I can make sure everything is in the right place
Overall, I like it. It's not as cute as my blue tuxedo suit from AlwaysForMe, but it is WAY more supportive and therefore I feel better in it. I love the Lands End black tankini that was my other suit I was wearing, but the straps weren't adjustable and things were drooping and too loose in the bust with the soft-cup bra.
My blue tuxedo suit from AlwaysForMe.com
The top of my older Lands End tankini (no longer available). unfortunately, the straps would droop in water.
