I love ideeli, the deal site where you get designer clothes and accessories for way less than in the stores. Each “event” (sale) lasts 40 hours (I believe) so there's limited time and limited inventory to snag. You have to be a member to see the sales and such, however it's free – sign up here.
In the past, I only could browse the pretty jewelry or accessories at ideeli, but never the clothes. Recently, however, ideeli has had several “Plus Size Perfection” sales featuring some of my favorite plus size designers, as well as some I had never heard of before. Last week, they had a Plus Size Perfection sale where me and my wallet bravely entered the wonderful online universe and left just slightly worse for wear. At one point my shopping cart was over $600, but I swiftly edited it down (significantly!) to pieces I knew I'd get a lot of use out of. I ended up with 1 dress from Tiana B., 1 dress from Kiyonna, 1 pair of Calvin Klein jeans, and a tank and vest from XCVI.
Here's a BLURRY photo of me and my new Tiana B. dress, which seriously is the most fun piece of clothing in my wardrobe right now. I got SO MANY compliments on it and I swear wearing it made me feel like a superhero. Or as superhero as I could be at work today. (Don't mind the hair, it was a HOT MESS today) Best $39 I've spent in a LONG time.
Paired with Fitzwell Vanessa III Camel Patent flats from Zappos (Ankle still bothering me from half marathon, so I'm still in flats. Pair with some platform sandals or open toed pumps? DIE!)
