It's time to show off some more new arrivals from Gwynnie Bee! Gwynnie Bee is like Netflix for clothing. You create a virtual closet on their site and fill it with items you want. You can choose from 1-10 pieces out at a time, and when you send one item back in the pre-paid package, they send out another item from your closet. Easy! Check out all my other Gwynnie Bee posts here.
If you've seen my plus size fashion posts before, you know I have a current obsession with two things: sequins and lace. So it should come as no surprise that I selected one of each in this latest shipment. I also selected a staple dress that could be worn casually and more dressy.
Sequin tank by ASOS via Gwynnie Bee (Size US22, runs large)
Cardigan by Old Navy (no longer available, size 3X)
Black leggings from Old Navy (size 3X)
Merona pumps from Target (no longer available)
It's no surprise that I LOVE this top. I have a ridiculous obsession with ASOS and with sequins, and this item did not disappoint. So much fun. Something I wouldn't purchase because I'd worry I wouldn't get enough wear out of it, but I'm excited to wear it a few times before sending it back.
Ponte knit dress with pockets by Lands End via Gwynnie Bee (Size 3X)
Moon and Lola necklace from Olive You Boutique
Merona pumps from Target (no longer available)
This dress is made of a ponte knit that is SO YUMMY. And who doesn't love pockets? I also love that it's the 2013 color of the year, Emerald. This could easily be a 3-season dress, and I just checked on Lands End and it's on sale for $29.99! I've already ordered it in 2 colors. Can't wait to pair it with leggings and a denim jacket, or with contrasting tights and pumps.
Tunic with lace inset by ASOS via Gwynnie Bee (size US22 – runs large)
Old Navy Leggings, size 3X
Merona pumps from Target (no longer available)
I love Gwynnie Bee not only because I'm introduced to new staples like the Lands End dress above, but also because it's a no-risk way to try things totally out of my comfort zone like this tunic. It is a fun item to wear a few times and then send back. I get to have fun with things like this and not have to buy them. Can't argue with that.
