I think I have a pretty predictable style pattern: wrap dresses, skirts, jeans and sweaters – nothing crazy. I like things that are timeless and that don't skew too trendy. When I saw this sweater on Gwynnie Bee, however, I knew I had to try it!
I can't wink for the life of me. I've tried for years, and it just looks like I have sand in my contact lens. Lots of bad squinting and face squishing. It's just not cute.

I loved having fun wearing this sweater, and was glad to be able to enjoy it without buying it. I just dropped it back into the Gwynnie Bee return bag and put it in the mail. So easy to go outside of your clothing comfort zone when you're not thinking about wearing items multiple times to get the value from them. If you're not familiar with Gwynnie Bee, here's a post about it with a photo gallery of all my Gwynnie Bee outfits. You can try Gwynnie Bee free for 30 days – no strings attached! Free clothes for a month: why would you not try it?!
I am ashamed to admit that when I saw the photo above, I immediately wondered if I could Photoshop my stomach out. That's insanity. No one should ever think that about themselves that way. I am who I am, and to think it's not good enough is totally not acceptable. Slapped myself on the wrist for that one.
Embrace who you are, in this moment. Rinse and repeat.
