You all know I can't resist sparkle of any kind. If challenged, I could probably find a reason to wear sequins everyday. What can I say? I like shiny things.
This dress just makes me so freaking happy.

I carry most of my weight in my stomach and hips, but the tightness didn't really bother me. I still felt great in it. I wore some light Spanx in this photo and I think it would be a much smoother look if I went for some heavier duty shape wear. Karen Kane's 3X has the measurements of a size 22, so really a size small. Not quite sure what happened in my head where I don't mind seeing extra curves – they are always there whether they're visible or not I suppose! The non-sequin portion of the dress is a jersey material that is super soft and has stretch.
This is a great item to borrow from Gwynnie Bee since it's a really memorable look – I probably wouldn't wear it more than a couple times before people start to recognize it as a dress I've already worn. Here's my full rundown on Gwynnie Bee. They have a 30 day free trial, so there's no risk to try it out. They're also running the #GBSeasonofGiving which means there are a few flash contests that are popping up this month on their Facebook Page.
