Chant with me: spring! spring! spring!
So these photos were taken a couple weeks ago during our big thaw, and *fingers crossed* we're done with snow. I'm ready for sprint clothes NOW! This is a super easy, comfortable spring dress from SWAK Designs. I've always loved SWAK because they have such a wide range of sizes (up to 6X) at affordable price points. You can't tell since I'm wearing a jacket, but it has 3/4 sleeves so it's a good transitional piece.
Skylar Dress c/o SWAK Designs (wearing 3X)
Old Navy Denim jacket – mine is about 3 years old, but they have this one now
Mossimo Kaci Boots
Leather Bucket Bag c/o SimplyBe
Lipstick, Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Framboise
Jewelry from Rocksbox
Fit notes: You can't really tell in the photos because the print does a good job of disguising, but there is an elastic band under the bust. If you have a bigger bust, I'd suggest maybe going up a size. I had a little bit of band creep that kept coming up, so a little extra room in the bust would have been nice. It wasn't tight, just the placement of the elastic was high for my torso. It's a stretchy knit though, with ample room everywhere else.
I loved these 2 necklaces from my latest Rocksbox (a jewelry subscription service.) I never would have paired them together, so thanks to my Rocksbox stylist Amanda for the nudge! The agate ring I'm wearing is actually a purchase from an earlier Rocksbox. Just couldn't part with it. I can give away a free month of Rocksbox to 3 readers, so if you want one let me know in the comments!
My last outfit post was a little bit rock-and-roll, and this one is a bit country. Can't say I don't mix it up! You could edge this outfit up by adding a moto jacket and some black boots. Or turn it a little sweet with a cropped black cardigan or blazer and pumps or sandals.
