While I think any time of year is appropriate for red lace, I think it's extra acceptable during the holidays! If you're going to do a red dress, this is one to add to your cart ASAP.

I was in Lexington for a dinner, so I met up with my photographer Emily Moseley to take these photos (and 2 other outfit phots coming soon) at The Summit. So much more has opened there since I moved away, and while I'm sad I can't be 5 minutes away from it like when I lived there, my wallet is probably better off. We did go into Meg C Jewelry Gallery though, where I oohed and aahed over pretty pieces of jewelry – or art – or both. A great place to stop for a last minute gift.
PS: This time of year can be lonely for a lot of people, or bring anxiety because of having to deal with toxic family members and such. If this isn't the most awesome time of year, don't worry – many others are in the same boat! I wrote this a couple of years ago when I was feeling particularly lonely.
