The sun is out and it's warm – fingers crossed that spring is finally here for good. Though, in Kentucky we seem to be able to have all 4 seasons in a single week. But I'm trying to be optimistic!
This dress came from one of my recent Gwynnie Bee boxes, and I'm in love. Green and blue is one of my favorite combos, and everyone knows I love a floral print and a bell sleeve.

I've not been able to find this dress in plus sizes anywhere but Gwynnie Bee, where they have it in sizes 6-24. It's a great GB item since I can wear it a few times this spring, and then send it back for something different. I think this would make a great Derby dress. If you've not checked out my other Derby and Oaks plus size outfit ideas, you can see them here.
I've looked high and low this year and last for these types of strappy, simple heels that 1) fit my wide foot; 2) fit my wide ankle – especially the one I had surgery on; 3) had a lower block heel so I could walk in them for more than 5 minutes. These were gifted from Catherines and I'm thrilled with them. They fit my wide feet and ankles great. Also, the straps at the ankle are velcro close instead of buckle close, meaning you're not struggling to get the buckle just right. I think I'm going to pick them up in black also.

I am sort of jonesing to wear this dress with this vivid green fascinator I tried from The Hat Girls:
