Today, I'm excited to share with you another very comfortable outfit that's perfect for the season. You all know I love sequins to infinity and beyond, but at home, on a walk, or on the bike – comfortable and functional styles are where it's at.
Is it any surprise that my LIVI Active picks from Lane Bryant were both animal print? The comfy and really soft hoodie and 7/8 Power Leggings might seem like a lot of allover print, but I maintain that animal prints are neutrals. Never enough!
Can't see the leggings print? Let me give you a better view, because it's a really fun tone-on-tone print.
I mentioned in my last post about my Peloton bike that I was going to write up some of my favorite things to wear on those rides. Spoiler alert: these LIVI 7/8 Power Leggings are on that list. They are high waisted and have what I'd call a medium level of compression. Firm, but you can still breathe in them. They stay put where they should, which is more than I can say for a lot of other activewear! And for those who want to go hands-free, there's a pocket you can easily fit your phone in.
Fit notes: I'm wearing my usual Lane Bryant 26/28 in both the top and bottom. I'm 5'10 and long torsoed, if that helps give you some reference to the fit of this look. The material of the hoodie is not heavy, which is what I prefer. The fabric of the leggings is thick, and you can do the bend over test and not show a peep! And if you're not an animal print lover, they come in several other very fun prints.
Let's also touch on these Lane Bryant cold weather accessories real quick. I never wear hats because I have such a big noggin. I saw this fun beanie with a faux fur pom pom and had to try it. It is so comfortable and warm! For fun, I also tried some fingerless gloves which also fit my big hands. Lane Bryant never disappoints on right-sized accessories for bodies like mine.
What about you: is your amount of athleisure wear increasing as we head into the thick of winter?
