Aah, it's time for one of my favorite sales of the year: the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
I love the Nordstrom Anniversary sale because it's always new stuff, not things they're trying to liquidate. I think of it as a preview of fall/winter clothes that happen to be on sale. I know many have price objections that come to mind when they think Nordstrom, but I try to pick items from there strategically. Nothing super trendy, and something I would wear multiple seasons or over the years. Here are my plus size picks for the #nsale, which started today:
I'm in need of a light coat for fall, and these are great:
MICHAEL Michael Kors Belted Trench with Removable Liner, $129 (after sale $228)
Halogen Quilted Leather Bomber Jacket, $198 (after sale $298)
Foxcroft blouses are always impeccably made, feel great, and hold their shape for eons. I never buy them at full price though.

Foxcroft “Brooke” Shaped Button Up Tunic, $51.90 (after sale $78)
Zella “Item” Hoodie $44.90 (after sale $68) – who doesn't love a good, comfortable, cute hoodie?
Vince Camuto Faux Leather Trim Leggings, $52.90 (after sale $79) – these would be great under dresses or that Foxcroft tunic top above.
These are my favorite things ever! Completely seamless tanks that I wear under virtually everything. Amazing price during the anniversary sale, so I'm stocking up. Note that these go to 2x only, but as a 3x can tell you the 2x works totally fine since there's so much stretch. They also have a camisole-style, but I prefer the tank style as the straps are wide enough for a regular bra.
