I think I've mentioned my work on the blog before, but I haven't really detailed out my background and how I left my corporate job for the land of self-employment/entrepreneurship.
A couple of years ago during this journey, one of my doctors flat out told me I had too much stress. Of course, I knew I had stress and was a chronic insomniac, but I didn't know my body was showing those signs beyond just looking tired. I had adrenal fatigue and was encouraged to slow down. Being Type A with a million projects going on at one time, that was difficult for me to swallow. After some planning and feeling physically broken down, the decision was made to leave my job.
My super smart friend Melissa of Launch Yourself interviewed me recently for her podcast. If you want to hear me discuss this part of my life, check it out here. You can stream it or download it. A spoiler: at the end, I announce a very exciting project I'm working on that I've yet to talk about publicly before!
Also, I realize in the podcast I say “that's so funny” a lot. I need to work on that.
