I've had some major love for IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel lately. I always check their new designs and inevitably find some I love, only to not grab them in time after I've gnawed on the decision for a little bit. Since I've gotten 4 straight amazing IGIGI items through Gwynnie Bee, it really opened my eyes back up to them. The fit and fabrics are all great, and each piece truly is a classic piece that you can feel good with investing in. They go from size 12-32, which is SO RARE and extremely appreciated, especially since I used to be a size 32/34 and couldn't ever find anything cute that fit.
IGIGI recently launched Curve Connection, where you can submit photos wearing your IGIGI items, and see others wearing them as well. While I think the models on the site are beautiful, my body doesn't look like theirs. Any chance I have to see someone else wearing the item is a huge benefit. Here are my current looks on Curve Connection.
In looking for a new piece from IGIGI, I chose to go with a classic silhouette, but with a scoop neck instead of my usual v-neck default, and with a sleeve length more appropriate for fall. I also looked for something that was different from anything I already have, so I chose this sweater dress with a retro-inspired (in my opinion) print on the bottom.
IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel Lynnette Sweater Dress in Black, size 22/24
Belt, Lane Bryant (old) – the IGIGI Obi belt is a great alternative
Pumps, Isaac Mizrahi for Target (old)
Um, love!!! The length is just below the knee which is work appropriate, the textile was so soft and well made. The waist was fitted, which always helps with a curvier silhouette. I added the belt to add just a little more definition to my waist, and thew on some pumps. You could easily pair this with black tights and knee-high boots (which is something I'm already planning on doing).
