Sometimes things happen where it just seems silly to blog about anything. Such is the case after the Boston Marathon bombings. I had internet friends who were running, and the fear I felt for them and their families and friends who were waiting for them to cross the finish line was felt, just like the rest of the world that watched in horror. Waiting for check-ins and for answers.
I don't have anything adequate to say. So today I just wanted to share these few posts. My friend Dani was running and her wife wrote two posts that brought me to tears. Dani also wrote one afterwards.
- Tori's first post (the day of the race)
- Tori's second post (the day after the race)
- Dani's post
Things here will be back to “normal” (whatever that is) tomorrow. But I hope we never forget how insignificant some of our problems are, and to hug your loved ones tight.
