October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, which means pink is EVERYWHERE. I try to be mindful of the pink promotion I do because of the “pinkwashing” effect (“think before you pink”) – companies selling pink items under the guise of promoting breast cancer awareness, only to realize their products contain carcinogens or they aren't really donating to a related agency.
