Hands down, shades of blue are my favorite colors. If I had to rank from most favorite, it'd be cobalt, turquoise, navy, mint (which I know is more blue-green), and baby blue. I'm a magnet to anything blue in the stores. Kohl's sent me shopping and naturally I ended up with a blue overload – perfect for spring!
With brands like Apt. 9, Sonoma, Jennifer Lopez, and more, there were lots of options for me to try on at my local Kohl's. I think I took 12 things into the dressing room, ha. I ended up mixing a couple of brands to create a layered look that will be a go-to for the rest of spring.
I loved the comfort and ease of this Apt. 9 Printed High-Low Hem Dress in Soft Plaid Blue. It is perfect to wear throughout summer, and it has all of my favorite shades of blue.
Since we're still in spring and the weather can be fickle, I added a soft blue denim jacket by Sonoma. The denim of this jacket is great because there is a good amount of stretch, but it still stays structured and fitted.
As I was breezing to check out with my dress and jacket, I passed handbags, jewelry, and sunglasses. I couldn't resist grabbing something from each of these areas to complete the full look. I love a good accessory! The sunnies by Sonoma are really comfortable, even on my big noggin.
I love an earring that jingle-jangles! These shell teardrop kite earrings were a fun addition to the outfit. I finished the look with a versatile Apt. 9 crossbody clutch.
