Old man winter has me and my outfit game off. I'm not a fan of getting outside when it's cold, so big ups to me for going out in the snow a couple of weeks ago. Mind you, it was only a little snow compared to the northeast right now. #weenie

I love this dress from my Gwynnie Bee subscription, but to be honest, I probably wouldn't have tried it if I wasn't asked to put it on when I went to visit them in January. I was part of their First Fit reviews, where members try on different items and take photos in them so others can see how they may look. I'm on the edge of London Times sizing, so this dress would normally fit much looser. It's more bodycon than shift on me, but I was surprised at how good it looked:
I added it to my Gwynnie Bee closet, when it arrived and I decided to layer it because #cold and also because I wasn't super comfortable with some of the cling. I think people should wear whatever makes them feel best – tight, loose, loud, muted – but for me I always feel best in something I don't feel self conscious in.
I love the vibrant blues and hint of plum in this print.
The bracelet was a Christmas gift from Steve, and we learned that Swarovski will send bracelet extenders (if available), free of charge. This was originally less than 7″ long and looked like a choker for my wrist. If you do this, I suggest calling their customer service versus emailing. We emailed about 4 times in 3 weeks and got no reply. I called and there was zero wait time and they sent me exactly what I needed. The folks over email also sent what I needed – kind of – wrong color.
I hope you're having a great day 🙂
