After spending a lot of the winter in dark colors, I'm anxious to break out in the bright colors of spring. Today, I'm bringing the spring green in this outfit from Catherines. Like my last outfit post, I'm still all about comfort and ease that looks good and is really versatile.

Want to know a secret? The jeans are pull-on, with an elastic waist! No button, no zipper, and ridiculously comfortable. They look just like regular jeans, but are as comfy as leggings. Talk about the best of both worlds.
Eagle-eyed long time readers (much more observant than I am) may recognize this tunic and cardigan set. I shared it in July last year in red. Both times, the colors and the versatility of the pieces had me making a beeline straight to them. The red isn't available anymore, but in addition to this green, there's a gorgeous deep pink and a lighter pink chevron print.
I wanted to touch on sizing with Catherines as I've been thinking a lot about access to clothes and how there are so few brands that offer extended plus sizes. It's the reason you'll only see a handful of brands in my closet: so many brands stop before my size. I have so much appreciation for Catherines offering sizes 16-34 because that means I never have to worry about them having my size.
For reference, I'm wearing the size 3X jean, and the 4X tunic and cardigan. I'm 5'10 with a super long torso and shorter legs. I own the 3X tunic and cardigan in the red set I posted earlier and should have gotten that size again. I'm so conditioned to having to size up for tops in other brands (if that's even an option – which it's not most of the time) that I automatically did it with the top set. I have to remind myself that Catherines proportions actually do fit my body, and that means I don't have to try a larger size to get the length I desire. In any case, I'm still going to wear both colors!
What's your favorite spring color?
