It took all of 2 days for 2 of my The Webster Miami dresses from Target to arrive. The flats I ordered will probably be delivered tomorrow. Several people in the comments and on Twitter asked me for updates after the first post went up, so here it goes.
I share the good, bad, and ugly here. For the 2 dresses I ended up ordering, I think that 1 is good and 1 is UGLY.
First up is this one:
I took it out of the plastic, eyed the funny ruffle around the neck, and put it on. It felt like a tent, but the belt helped a little. I put it away for the night and put it on again this morning and decided I love the print. It's just so fun and Lily-(Pulitzer)-esque that I wanted to keep it. Of course, what did I do when I put it on this morning? Instagrammed it. (I'm skinnyemmie on Instagram)
I ran out to run an errand at lunch and quickly realized that the wind makes this dress FLY. As in, the Garden Ridge parking lot got a show. Yipes.
Here I am at the end of the day. It's not the most flattering shape ever, but I still feel good in it, which is good enough for me.
Next up is the UGLY – this melon mess.
When I took it out of the bag and slipped it on my head, I immediately knew it was not going to do. It was MASSIVE. Now, I do order a size up in Target sizes, especially when they're like these dresses with zero stretch (I'm wearing the largest sizes- a size 4, and I'm a large 24 normally). But this was humongo. And the scale of the print was just off, and the neckline made me look very round in the shoulders (which I am). I didn't want to take a photo in it, but I did anyway.
