Since ankle surgery, I've had trouble with shoes. In the past, I'd style everything with a pump or a wedge, but my ankle doesn't let me do that too much anymore except for a few minutes here and there during a photo shoot. When I was asked if I wanted to check out some new casual shoes from Reebok with a fashion twist, I was intrigued.
I've never been someone who felt particularly secure in putting casual shoes with a dressier outfit, but I decided to take these Reebok Skyscapes for a spin with this lace dress and denim jacket that I originally shot wearing cowboy boots.

It was SO WINDY doing this shoot and what was really funny is that the shoes are so light that they blew over when I was shooting a different outfit. They were on the ground and a gust of wind literally turned them over. That is how light they are (5 ounces!) – it's crazy. Also, as someone with wide feet, I worried about the width. Thankfully, the stretch body meant I had no problems with the width of the shoe – these are so comfortable. I also loved that they were comfortable without socks since they are lower cut, and socks generally aren't very stylish 🙂 Plus, they're machine washable if you're like me and tend to mess shoes up in a matter of minutes.
I think these would be great with some boyfriend jeans for an on-the-go look that has some dressier elements but a relaxed style:
