Miss my previous FFFWeek recaps? Here's part 1, and part 2.
Friday afternoon at Full Figured Fashion Week brought the ELOQUII and Redbook shopping event, held at The London Hotel. I think I need to stay there next time I'm in NYC because it was gorgeous. This was the view from the party. It was a beautiful day.
I had changed out of my jumpsuit (verbally citing “jumpsuit regret” to those who had seen me earlier in the day) and into something else out of my comfort zone – a super short dress by BB Dakota from my Gwynnie Bee subscription. It looks normal length in this photo, but believe me, it was WAY short. Barely covered my bum. But I loved the colorblocking and it was really comfortable.

Earrings and bracelets, Charming Charlie
Shoes, Fitzwell Sandra Wedge from Zappos

I had to touch all the things. Since ELOQUII is sold online only, it was really great to touch the different items to get a feel for quality (great), and details. They had some samples available to try on, which was really great. ELOQUII has sizes 14-24, and I am at the very top end of their size chart. Seeing the items in person gave me a much better understanding of what might work for me in the future from them, and after trying on a sheath dress, I know I will try many more things from them. I fell in love with the prints, all things scuba, and beadwork.
ZOMG, it's EMME! Plus size supermodel pioneer extraordinaire!

Can I just say that all events need one of these GIF photo booths? Apparently I'm trying to eat the camera while Allison of Curvy Girl Chic pretends like she's a fish. Good times! Speaking of Allison, she was in town doing a fab collaboration with ELOQUII – check it out on her blog.
The event was packed with awesome people, nice refreshments, and beautiful clothes. Not sure what else you could ask for in an event? The photo booth, tarot card reader, and manicures were just icing on the cake!
