I've started about 5 different posts this week and haven't been able to get them all finished to post! So tonight I'm just sharing a quick video from this week at the gym. I am really lucky to have a place to train with awesome trainers and other members. These are group training classes, but the trainers will modify anything as needed and make sure you're doing everything properly. They're just all around great people who are focused on overall health, not a number on a scale or number on a dumbbell. This should be the norm.
So thanks Jim and Lucy!
{Note: This does not constitute medical advice and is being shared for explanation purposes only} This was 4 exercises, done 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off, for 4 sets. Kettlevator, Med Ball Slams (this is a modification for me as I am not really confident in my kettlebell swings of late), walk ups (also a modification from shuffling down the turf – side motion with my ankle is too risky right now), and side wall slams. My conditioning just 3 weeks ago was so bad as I had been on my divorce “diet” of red wine, gluten free pizza, and binge-watching Gilmore Girls, and I just feel 100% better. Elated.
Hope you have a great weekend!
