I wrote last week about the question that I'm trying to answer for myself: What is the end game? All of my fitness and self acceptance journey has been about becoming comfortable in my skin and living a life without limits. With that question, the thought of adventures (trips or experiences) have been churning in my mind. The current record snowstorm in my area is only amplifying those visions of adventure! For now though, I have to settle for visions only online:

See the snow out the window? No wonder I'm dreaming of adventures!
This February & March, HP is going on the road with Meghan Trainor to cover her entire US tour. From Vancouver to Nashville, they'll have a camera crew and some of our favorite Meghan Trainor fans from her Lips Are Movin’ video to help bring the tour to life—check it out here! I've had Meghan's new CD, TITLE, on repeat for about 3 weeks straight, if that tells you how much I like her music. (If you haven't heard “Dear Future Husband,” it will give you a laugh.)
The HP x360 is super versatile, and that's saying something considering I thought I had all the tech devices that I needed. This device combines them into one with 4 modes: Laptop, tablet, tent, and stand. Seeing as my work is primarily online and I work remotely with clients, having a device that can go with me on adventures is key. Lugging multiple devices around is no fun, so with this single device, I can have a fully functioning laptop; a tablet for reading on the airplane, a tent mode for playing games with friends at the hotel; and a stand for when I just want to stream a Melissa McCarthy movie.

I've worked this winter re-making my home into a nesting space, including this new kitchen dining area, but the urge to explore other places still lingers.
Inspired by the 4 modes of the HP x360, here are 4 adventures I want to have in 2015:
- A tropical trip: I have longed for a tropical, warm vacation for a few years now. I want to bliss out on the beach and soak in the sun, wear my fatkinis, don my sunnies, and read a book. I'm scheming with friends to try to accomplish this. We're thinking maybe Playa Del Carmen (been there before, but the resorts are just lovely and cost effective), the Dominican Republic (never been), or maybe a cruise.
- More Music: I love concerts, but I go to them super infrequently. Beyond the music, it's the experience with friends that I'm really looking for. I'm so close to Nashville and other large cities, that it just doesn't make sense to just jam out to my streaming radio. On that note, I have at least 3 concerts booked for 2015 so far! Near me in Kentucky? Meghan Trainor will be in Louisville on 3/1! If you go, tag #BendTheRules and you could be featured in their user documentary that she and HP are putting together.
- Stand Up Paddleboarding: I love the water, and stand up paddleboarding (SUP) looks so fun. I know it's crazy hard for the core but the thought of being able to stand on water? Sign me up! Again, just another experience I could have with friends that would be memorable.
- Hiking: I've had hiking the hills of LA on my to-do list for a while, but I think hiking in general should be a goal. It's a way to get outside, get active, be with friends, and see things I might not otherwise. Maybe I'll explore the Red River Gorge area near me, or perhaps when I'm in Denver for Fitbloggin.'

Looking at all.the.trips. on Pinterest! And yes, those flowers follow me everywhere in my house these days.
There's an entire world of adventures out there, and it's time to start experiencing them.
