Whether we'd like to admit it or not, January is almost over and Valentine's Day is going to creep up on us faster than we know it. I'm getting into the lovey-dovey spirit by wearing hearts on my sleeve(s) – literally!

Catherines asked me to pick some things from their Valentine's Collection and this heart print top jumped out at me immediately. It's a fun print that doesn't read “childish”, and could be worn so many ways. The material is an easy wearing georgette, and the buttons down the front are reinforced at the bust with a second set of buttons on the inside! Peek-a-boo buttons are never a good look.
In addition to pairing this top with a pair of leggings and flats as I did, you could also:
- Unbutton it and wear it over a black, white, or red top with jeans
- Tuck it into a black or red skirt: a pencil skirt or fuller circle skirt would both look great with this. For cooler weather, add tights and boots, or tights and pumps.
- Wear it as your shirt under a black suit to add some personality and whimsy to an otherwise structured outfit
- Wear it underneath a black sleeveless sheath dress
- Wear it as I am, but add a long cardigan or a moto jacket to it
So many options with a blouse like this! For reference, I'm wearing the Catherines 3X.
These black seamed ponte knit leggings are going to become a staple in my wardrobe. I will fight anyone who says that these leggings don't count as pants! They are a very thick, stretchy material that has enough give to go over your curves, but they hold their shape. The waist is higher on these, so you don't have to worry about them sliding down. Like the top, I'm wearing the 3X in these pants.
Catherines also has some nice sleepwear and intimates in their Valentines collection. Nightgowns, bralettes, and pajamas!

This chemise and robe are buttery soft, and who doesn't love a coordinating set?! The robe has both an inside and outside tie so it is secure if you need it to be. It's the kind of set you don't want to change out of when you wake up on Saturday morning.
For sizing reference, I'm wearing the 3X in both the chemise and robe. I love that it's not super short. I'm 5'10 and it comes to my knees.
