Tomorrow is it! The RunTheBluegrass half-marathon. 13.1 miles of celebrating my over 100 pound weight loss, and the over $2,600 you wonderful friends have donated towards Parkinson's disease research for the Kentucky Neuroscience Institute. I've been nervous all day for the half, worrying about bad feet, weather, and finishing at a decent pace (even though that was never my goal).
Tonight, a group of fellow half'ers got together for dinner. My training partner Holli, Krissie and her husband Nathan, Sarah and her mom Lucy, Lisa, and Mary Ann enjoyed some good food and company. Here's a picture- I promise we don't all have evil-eyes in real life!
Tomorrow will come very early, so I'm going to bed now (after my beloved Cats just lost). I'll try to tweet during or right after the race. It starts at 8am.
As I drift off to sleep, I'm hoping to have visions of this in my dreams:
