When thinking of an ultimate girls trip, the first thing that pops into my head is VEGAS! Next is SEQUINS! Then comes DANCING! (You like my mix of obnovious capital letters and exclamation points?!!!)
When thinking of an ultimate girls trip, the first thing that pops into my head is VEGAS! Next is SEQUINS! Then comes DANCING! (You like my mix of obnovious capital letters and exclamation points?!!!)I may have watched one-too-many movies set in Las Vegas, but I have this dream in my head of what a night in Vegas would be like. I've never been to Vegas, so perhaps my dream is a bit idealized, but one day I'll just have to go there to find out!

The afternoon would start with checking into an amazing hotel with my girlfriends where we are led to a fabulous suite. We get ready for the night while snacking on various room service items and blasting “Baby Got Back” on an iPod speaker. We would head to a wonderful spot for dinner (where calories don't count) and gab about all the meaningless celebrity gossip that fills our minds. Or perhaps we make up stories about fellow diners – where they're from, what they do, and who they're with.
Next up, we're off to a show. Perhaps something by Cirque du Soleil? Or maybe The Thunder from Down Under. Yes, I realize these are on different sides of the “classiness” spectrum. It's how I roll.
After being thoroughly fed and entertained, we then head to the casino and win some pocket change before heading back up to the fabulous suite to change into party clothes. This is when the sequins come out. Perhaps there will even be glitter in my makeup!

At the club, we have a VIP table where we can sit and survey the crowd before getting up to bust a move. By saying “bust a move,” I really mean “trying not to pull a hamstring,” but that's besides the point. We drink pretty, tasty drinks, and dance like crazy. And if I happen to pull out the cabbage patch, no one judges.
After an awesome night, we crash in the suite and wake up fresh as daisies so we can go shopping in the morning, then snag a spot at the pool.
