Last week I posted lots and lots, and this week it's been crickets! It's been a combo of being slammed with work, and being in a little bit of a funky head space. Not quite sure what it is. Nothing as severe as one of my depressive episodes (mental health is important, YO!) but just feeling a little off. Maybe a combo of cloudy and cold weather, a little stress, some restless sleep, ankle cramps (who knew these existed?), etc. Just feeling discombobulated.
Thankfully, the fog is starting to lift. I got out of the house a little bit, have been working on my ankle with massage and ice, and also got some sleep. Huzzah!
Here are some posts from the past week from other sites that I loved. They helped me get back to a better head space. Happy reading!
- How I Found Happiness by Jia Jiang – if you haven't watched his story of rejection, take 25 minutes and do it. So worth it.
- You Will Never “Get” This Food Thing by Isabel Foxen Duke
- From the Today Show: The story of biathletes Lanny and Tracy Barnes – Tracy gave up her spot on the US Olympic Team for Lanny, who was next in line. Incredible. (And they're ENELL-athletes!) I cried when I heard this story for the first time.
Hope you're having a great weekend.
