I’m excited to have an end-of-the-year giveaway for you, courtesy of the place I get 90% of my clothes – Gwynnie Bee.
I’ve been a GB member for nearly 4 years, and have photographed over 200 items of GB clothes here on my blog. Considering I only blog 1 item from every months’ arrivals, there are approximatley 500 other garments I’ve NOT photographed, but gotten from GB. It’s insanity in the most amazing, clothes-lovers-dream way.
How Gwynnie Bee works: You simply select your membership plan (from 1 to 10 garments out at a time), fill your virtual closet, and they start sending you items! You wear them, throw them back in a pre-paid envelope, and mail them back. They prep another package and send it to you. No dry cleaning, no postage fees – just easy.
These are my top 5 items from Gwynnie Bee in 2015:
I can say without a doubt that 4 of 5 of these items, I NEVER would have tried or purchased on my own. The one I might have bought myself? The red dress. Everything else with their different patterns, materials, and cuts would have scared me, and they ended up giving me so much confidence! I don’t want to spend money on these sorts of items that could fail disasterously and end up worn once and never again. This is why Gwynnie Bee is perfect for me: I can wear things once or twice and then return it without any remorse! Or, if I love a garment too much to part with it, I can buy it at a significant discount from retail price.
Gwynnie Bee Gift Cards and a Giveaway
Just in time for the holidays (final hours counting down!!), Gwynnie Bee now has gift cards. If you are scrambling for a last minute gift for a friend or family member that is size 10-32; or want to ask for the gift of GB from a family member, you’re in luck. They’ve never had gift cards available until now, so giving the gift of unlimited style is super easy. (Plus, you don’t have to wrap it – the email can be sent to the recipient whenever you want!)
There are 3 options for giving, depending on the plan you’d like the recipient to have.
The most frequently asked question I get about Gwynnie Bee is about how many garments you can get per month. It’s important to note that these plans aren’t just for a certain number of items per month. Think of it like Netflix and physical DVD’s: You could have 3 at your house a time, but when you return one, they’d send you another one. Works the same way.
- For example, if I have the 2-items plan, I can have 2 garments out at a time, with unlimited returns and exchanges at a flat monthly fee. Assuming you wear once, then throw right back in the bag and send back, you could get 8 garments per month once you include shipping time. You might be able to get more, but I used a conservative estimate just in case.
The gift cards are for new members only, but GB is considering adding more gift options in the future.
